Church membership may be held by any professing Christian who is seeking to live according to the truth of God's Word, and who has received Christian baptism, either as an infant or as a believer.

New members are welcomed into the church family during a regular worship service, following the taking of these vows:

*  I believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and I profess Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord.
* I promise to support the witness of my church by attending faithfully, by living a godly life, and by giving regularly of my time, talents and money for my church's work in the world. (Heb.10:25; Phil.1:27; 1Cor.16:2).
* I promise to protect the unity of this church by acting in love towards other church members, by refusing to gossip, and by obeying the teaching and following the example of the leaders. (Rom.14:19; 1Peter1:22; Eph.4:29; Heb.13:17).
* I promise to share the responsibility of NCC by praying for its growth, by inviting others to attend, and by warmly welcoming those who visit. (1Thess.1:1-2; Luke14:23; Rom.15:7).

I promise to serve the ministry of this church by discovering my gifts and talents, by being equipped to serve by my minister, and by developing a servant's heart. (1Peter4:10; Eph.4:11-12; Phil.2:3-4,7).

I promise, depending on the grace of God, to confess Christ before men, to serve Him in my daily work, and to walk in His ways all the days of mylife.
